克里斯·尼尔森 begins his 13th season leading GA's girls varsity soccer program in 2023. Over the course of that time, he has led the Patriots to an Inter-Academic Athletic League title in 2011 and a Pennsylvania Independent Athletic Association tournament title in 2015 (runner-up in 2014).

In 2022, the team went 8-12-2 overall and 3-8 in league play. The team had one student-athlete named to the All-League team.

GA went 6-12-1 during the 2021 season and had two student-athletes named to the All-Inter-Ac team.

In 2020, during a shortened season impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, GA went 1-5 (all Inter-Ac League opponents).

In 2019, the Patriots went 6-12-1 overall and 3-8-1 in league play.

In 2018, 纳尔逊 led the Patriots to a 13-6-1 overall record while going 7-4-1 in the Inter-Ac. GA finished the season in the semifinals of the PAISAA Tournament. Four of the student athletes on the team earned All-League honors.

During the 2017 season, 纳尔逊 guided the team to a 10-12-1 record. They finished the season in the second round of the PAISAA tournament. 纳尔逊 had three student-athletes selected to All-Inter-Ac teams in 2017.

In 2016, the Patriots fell in overtime in the semifinals of the PAISAA tournament, but finished the season strong by crushing Penn Charter, the Inter-Ac league champions, GA/PC日5-2.

纳尔逊, who also serves an 上学校 math teacher, previously served as the head coach of the Shipley girls varsity soccer team from 2006-09; and after becoming the Dean of 学生 at Shipley, he served as the assistant coach in 2009 and 2010. 在这五年中, 纳尔逊’s teams won three Friends League soccer championships (2006, 2007, 2010) and finished second once (2009).
